The goal of the website was for potential clients to quickly and easily learn about Crossborder Tax Services and be compelled to get in touch with them without any friction. The website refresh provides a simple and intuitive experience for users to reach out to Crossborder Tax.
Challenge
& Objective

To reinforce the main objective of the CrossBorderTax website, the user flow was designed with multiple paths and clear CTAs leading to the submission form. Additionally, information about CrossBorderTax was strategically placed throughout the site to engage users and encourage them to get in touch, ensuring a seamless and compelling experience that guided visitors toward taking action.
The website was designed to convey both trustworthiness and expertise in Canadian/American taxation while maintaining a professional yet approachable tone. To achieve this, we combined traditional and casual design elements. A neutral color palette and thoughtfully chosen imagery create a balance between formality and warmth. The use of both serif and sans-serif fonts for headers and body text enhances this blend, reinforcing professionalism while remaining welcoming and accessible.
Conclusion
Redesigning the CrossBorderTax.com website reinforced the importance of developing a design system that aligns with the brand’s identity. I gained valuable experience in improving user experience and ensuring cross-browser compatibility. The iterative process of testing and incorporating feedback was essential in refining both the functionality and visual appeal of the site, resulting in increased visits and reduced bounce rates.
