Summary
At Eight Sleep I worked closely with the design lead on developing and designing engaging content for different social media platforms, updating the website, and editing videos and motion graphics for advertising. Throughout my time at Eight Sleep, I gained valuable insight into the process of working and collaborating as part of a team, sharing and implementing feedback, and creative problem-solving.
This was my first time working for a tech startup and it made for an invaluable experience. The team was so welcoming and collaborative, I truly had an incredible time interning there.
I was given the opportunity to produce launch videos for various brands partnering with Eight Sleep. I thoroughly enjoyed the challenge and the process of storyboarding, animating, and editing the videos from start to finish, as well as implementing comments and feedback from my supervisors and co-workers.
Launch Videos
Eight Sleep was looking to grow their Instagram account and increase followers. They asked me to generate new content ideas to design and post. After creating a Google slides deck with ideas and inspiration, the lead designer and head of marketing provided me with feedback, before moving on to the design phase.
Artist Series
As a part of Eight Sleep’s initiative to enhance brand awareness, I was asked to commission various digital artists to create custom artwork for the Instagram account. This involved emailing and direct messaging illustrators (or their agents) to inquire about pricing and availability, following up with them on process updates, providing feedback, as well as handling billing, and payment.
